Fax

From Team Wiki
An example fax if the recipient's phone number was 412-555-1234.

Tree of Life utilizes a digital platform to send and receive faxes. We do not have a fax machine, and the copier unit cannot send or receive faxes at this time.

Sending a Fax

In order to send a fax, the page(s) must first be scanned into a PDF file. Then, it is sent via an email. In order for it to send, you must make sure that the email includes the following:

  1. Recipient: [fax number or recipient]@treeoflifeopenbiblechurch.fax.onjive.com
  2. Subject Line: 830910649
  3. The PDF of the page(s) you need to send as ONE attachment.

Please note - any text in the body of the email will NOT be seen by the recipient. Any notes or comments must be included in the PDF attachment. Multiple files must be combined into one attachment, or sent as separate faxes.

Receiving a Fax

Our fax number is 412-531-1199. Senders can send faxes from a traditional machine using our fax number. We do not, however receive the faxes as a print out. All faxes are received via email to a pre-determined list of staff members. This is currently the Senior Pastor, Director of Operations, Sprouts Director, and other administrative staff according to their duties. If you receive faxes regularly and would like faxes to come to your email automatically upon receipt, this must be discussed with the Senior Pastor to determine suitability. An individual either receives all faxes or none.

If you are requesting a fax be sent to the facility, please tell the sender to include your name and/or department in the cover sheet. Then, when it is received by the staff persons mentioned above, they can ensure it is given to the intended person in a timely fashion.
