Use this when a donor gives items, goods, or other non-cash donations and needs a receipt.
 
== What to do ==
# Open the donation form:

# Fill it out clearly for the donor.

#* date received

In-Kind Donation Receipt Task List

Use this when a donor gives items, goods, or other non-cash donations and needs a receipt.

What to do

  1. Open the donation form:
  2. Print the form.
  3. Fill it out clearly for the donor.
  4. Include:
    • donor name
    • date received
    • description of the donated items
    • ministry or department receiving the donation, if needed
  5. Make sure the item description is specific enough to be helpful.
    • Example: "4 winter coats, 2 boxes of diapers, 5 bags of clothes, 10 boxes of canned goods"
    • Not just: "miscellaneous items"
  6. Do not assign a dollar value to the donated items.
