Entering deposits into PCO giving


PCO Giving is the tool we use to generate Year End Statements for donors. Only donations that belong on a person’s year end giving statement should be entered into PCO Giving.  This includes tithes and offerings.  Money received for productsor registrations should NOT be entered into PCO Giving.


Open PCO Giving https://giving.planningcenteronline.com/dashboard

Click on Batches on the top of the screen

On the left hand side, click “New Batch”

Where it says “Untitled Batch” type in the Sunday of the offering deposit you are entering

Click Save

Under that, it says “Add a donation”

Enter the name of the donor from whom you received a donation

Enter the amount of their donation        

Click the “Choose Fund” and select the Fund to which they donated

Received date: The date the donation was received

Payment Method: Select cash or check

Check #: Enter the check number

Check Date: Enter the check date

Donation label: not required, but you can use this to mark a donation with further detail

Click Next Donation


Repeat the process with the next donation

Once all donations have been entered, click on the green box that says “Commit Batch” in the upper right corner of the page.
