Handwashing Signs

Due to Child Care Center and Health Department Regulations, handwashing signs must be posted in various areas throughout the building.

At a minimum, all toilets must have handwashing signs posted above/near them. Text may be painted/written directly on the walls. All sinks must have a sign if it is a child care space. All other spaces need at least one in the bathroom reminding staff they must wash their hands before returning to work.

Signs detailing proper handwashing procedures should be posted at kitchen handwashing sinks. They are encouraged in other areas.
