- All key requests are made through the Senior Pastor or the Director of Operations only.
- Keys are to be used by the authorized holder only.
- The requestor must obtain the keys in person at the church office. Spouses and children are not permitted to accept keys for the requestor.
- Any person to whom a key is loaned will be given a copy of this policy and will be required to sign the Key Control Log before receiving the key.
- Loaned keys must be returned to the church office by the specified date and in person. Keys cannot be mailed or left in the church office. The Office Administrator or designee will confirm the key’s return and note such in the appropriate column on the Key Control Log.
- Keys will not be duplicated, loaned, or made available to others. - Persons to whom keys are issued are responsible for the costs related to replacing lost or broken keys.
- The church staff reserves the right to request the return of any loaned key at any time.
- If key holder is not a member of Tree of Life, the appropriate organizational representative must notify the church office within one business day when any person to whom a key is issued leaves their organization or group. The key must be immediately returned to the church office.
- Tree of Life shall have the authority to periodically review and revise these policies as often as necessary to secure the facility.
- Tree of Life reserves the right to perform a full or partial key inventory at its sole discretion at any time.
- There is one loaner key to be logged and managed by the Director of Operations in order to empower volunteers who need access to the building without adding them as a formal key holder.
