Holidays & Office Closures

Paid Holiday

The following days are paid holidays for Full Time staff:

• New Years Day Observed
• Easter (Floating)
• Independence Day
• Thanksgiving
• Christmas

Office Closures

The office will be closed on these days. Any paid work must be approved by a manager for these days. There will be no scheduled meetings:

• New Years Day Observed
• Thursday through Monday of Easter (Sprouts Snow Days)
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day Observed
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving and the day after Thanksgiving
• Christmas Eve to New Years Eve

Sprouts Schedules

We close center-wide for national holidays (or their day observed if it is a weekend). This includes:

• Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
• Memorial Day
• Independence Day
• Labor Day
• Thanksgiving Day
• Christmas Day
• New Year's Day

Other days we typically close the whole center:

• At least a portion of Holy Week (Thursday through Easter Monday)
• Fall Election Day (First Tuesday in November, as long as it is after November 1)
• Black Friday
• The time between Christmas and New Years Day

Staff are not paid for these closed days unless work is scheduled or unless they meet the paid holiday requirements listed above.

Other Notes around Holidays

• Martin Luther King Jr. Day - All church staff meeting day
• Easter Monday is a snow day and Sprouts may open. There is no Staff Meeting that day regardless.
• Christmas Eve there is a planned church service.
• Church will have normal Sunday Services between Christmas Eve and New Years Observed.
• New Years Eve may schedule a church service.
• There is no Sunday Evening Service on Easter, Christmas Day. 
• Election days:
  • Sprouts may close: in-service for Sprouts staff as scheduled
  • Church staff report to work as normal
