If a family member wishes to add or remove a person on a child's Emergency Contact Sheet, please follow the steps below.

# Verify that the person requesting is an enrolling guardian (typically mom and dad).
# Obtain a copy of the emergency contact sheet for that child from one of the binders (classroom or backpack).
# Have them add it (can be in the margins or wherever it fits if no room) - including the date and initials. If removing someone, they should place a clear single line through the name AND info (such as that person's phone number). PLEASE NOTE: Biological parents cannot be removed from approved pickups unless the center has a court order/custody agreement stating the loss of custody and parameters.
# MOST IMPORTANT: Do not lose that paper! It should be given directly to the Director/Assistant Director or placed in their mailbox. That now just became their original ECS that needs to go in their official file.
