Open [https://www.aplos.com Aplos] 

On the top of the screen, click on Donations

Under Donations, click on Contributions and select Deposits from the drop down

Click on the green plus sign on the top, right hand side of the screen

Deposit (Batch) Name is: [Sunday date the money was received]

Deposit (Batch) Description: If it is a special service you can note that here (ex: Palm Sunday), otherwise, you can repeat the date of the Sunday offering

Complete rows for each item of income

Date: [Date of deposit]

Ref ID: leave this blank

Note: Here you can list check numbers, names of donors, or any other information you may use to identify why this money was received

Donor: Cash for cash deposits, check for checks

Purpose: This tells Aplos how to allocate this donation – see "Purposes" below.  Select the most appropriate Purpose for the income you are tracking.

Amount: This is the amount of the income you are receiving

NTD Amount, NTD Description, NTD, Expense Amount, Status, Soft Credit Contact can all be left blank

Add rows for each donation you have then click SAVE

Purposes-

In Aplos, click on Donations at the top, then select “Purposes”

This will open the list of “purposes” as they exist in Aplos currently

By clicking on a row, you can see to which account, fund and department a donation designed with that purpose will be allocated.
